About Made to Make
Founder & Creative Director
Rose Aicken
Hi, I’m Rose, the creator behind Made to Make — a welcoming space for anyone who wants to explore their creativity, try something new, and feel inspired.
By day, I’ve spent years working as a dental technician, but I slowly realised that what truly lights me up isn’t in the lab… it’s in making. Crafting has always been the place where I feel most myself — where ideas flow, confidence grows, and imagination has no limits. After trying (more than once!) to sell my own handmade creations, I realised what I really wanted wasn’t just to make things for people… I wanted to make with people.
That’s how Made to Make began.

I offer after-school craft classes for kids, giving them a supportive, fun environment to learn new skills and build confidence in expressing their own creative ideas. I also host craft workshops for adults, designed for anyone who wants to unwind, try something different, learn a new craft, or simply enjoy the happiness that comes from making something with your own hands.
My goal is to build a warm and inviting craft community — a place where kids feel proud of what they create, and adults leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and excited to keep making.
Whether you’re here to learn, experiment, relax, or play, you are welcome.
At Made to Make, everyone is creative — sometimes you just need the right space to discover it.
