Term 3 booking special

Book the full 10-week Term 3 after-school craft program for just $190 (save $10!).

Bulk booking means you won't need to remember to book each week, and if your child misses a class for any reason, they'll receive a take-home craft kit to make up for the craft that they missed.

To buy the special simply book your spot for the first class of the term on the day and time that you prefer and select Term 3 Whole term booking package and complete the purchase.

Reusing!

For my son's birthday he wanted it to be rainbow themed. He found these rainbow hearts decorations on my Pinterest and could not stop talking about them. So I went crazy and made hundreds of colourful hearts to decorate the house with for his party.

We left them up for a few weeks but I always had the intention to use the hearts for a project in a craft class!

As always, I found inspiration and made a demo but then the kids just let their creative freedom go and made their own beautiful creations using the hearts.

So many beautiful, wonderful creations and so great to see the hearts getting a second use!

What's on your tree???

This weeks craft going with our Growing and Blooming, nature theme for the term is 'What's on your tree?'

They will each be given a cardboard outline of a tree. They will let their imagination go crazy and decide what is going to be growing on their tree.

This is a video showing me making the demo tree with my magic tree. My favourtie food is toast and I love craft so of course my tree is also going to have infinite craft supplies!

I cannot wait to see what everyone comes up with and what's going to be on everyones tree!

🌱 **Term 3: Growing & Blooming** 🌸

As my little business continues to grow and bloom, it feels like the perfect theme for our **Term 3 After School Craft Classes**!

This term we'll be inspired by the beauty of nature as we explore how things grow, change and flourish through hands-on creative projects. Every week children will create something special to take home while building confidence, creativity and new friendships along the way.

Some of the nature-inspired crafts we'll be making include:
🌼 Flower pressing
📖 Seed to Bloom art journals
🌱 Air-dry clay seed mosaics
🍃 Nature name and picture art
...and plenty more creative surprises throughout the term!

I love using recycled and natural materials wherever possible, encouraging children to see the creative possibilities all around them.

Whether your child joins us every week or drops in casually, they'll enjoy a fun, welcoming space to create, imagine and let their creativity bloom.

Mystery box reveals!!!

The wonderful creations to come out of the end of term mystery box challenge.

They chose their mystery box and inside was a collection of random items as a starting point that they could use some, all or none of! They could make whatever they liked with access to the materials around the workshop too.

This challenge focuses on process art, rather than product art. They have the freedom to explore materials and let their imagination go wild and just make!

Sharing some of my own crafting.

Late night request from my son for his schools fundraiser day tomorrow. They are having a scrabble day and have been asked to wear rainbow colours.

He was thinking about what to wear and came to me later and asked for his black pants with a lizard on it because he loves lizards. I automatically started saying no, it's the night before, I have so many other things I should be doing. But then I thought why not?! What's the point of having a mum who's crafty if she can't make things for you. This will probably bite me later, that he will think I'll be able to make any request he has. But also he's 6 and I'm going to blink and he'll be too cool for the things I make for him so I'm going to do it while I can.

So here is my late night creation of lizard pants!!!

Mystery boxes!!!

It's the last week of term so that means mystery boxes!

We're focusing on process art rather than product art. No demos pieces, no instructions. Just a box with random items to get them started and idea eggs with a theme to help with ideas if they need.

The students get creative freedom to make whatever they like. Building and experimenting with different materials. Maybe even using some of the techniques we learnt throughout the term.

Watch out for a follow up video coming later this week to find out what everyone creates.
